I lost $170,000 on the eToro platform due to unfair slippage, system malfunctions, and forced liquidation. As a novice, I had no knowledge of CFDs, leveraged trading, or the extreme risks involved.

Etoro is unique tool for people who want start with investing money to stocks or commodities. Its very friendly use.

I've been trying to withdraw my money for 12 days. After trying to resolve this via the support chat they referred my case to their operations team. They posed numerous objections to different alternatives to withdraw money from my account - from system glitches to complicated processes for international accounts. Finally they seemed to have accepted the bank account details I provided, and said they had sent my case to the Finance team to manually add my bank account details and would keep me updated. It's been 6 days since I last heard from anyone, despite repeated attempts to contact them, and I still can't withdraw my money. Beware before investing any of your funds with this shady company.

My advise is stay away from Copy Trader feature. Avoid Stop Loss and Take Profit.With copy trader I was getting sold stock with over inflated prices thah weren't on the market for many days.Master Copy is making profit, I'm making loss doing exactly the same actions, as example master bought 1 USD now and sold 1.6 USD at the end of the day. He is in profit, I am in loss. LOL I tried to follow day traders with the same result. Another thing, you are protected only when you trade Shares. Nothing else. Your bitcoins, altcoins, gas, oil, ETF's is all inside of the casino and not regulated or protected. Remember - shares only. No Copy Trade.

Unlike other copy sites, Etoro provides enough unmanipulated and unbiased data to assess the risk of each trader, which is (or at least shoud be) a fundamental requirement for anyone who wants to do things seriously. Another difference with other popular copy trading sites is that you don't see a massive slippage that wipes out any profits.

etoro's webtrader is great for new traders. If I didn't have etoro's webtrader to help me, I don't know what I would have done.

I found etoro USA to be very efficient. It is also convenient to have etoro USA as my local broker because I don't have to go out of the country to do my trading.

I've been using etoro for several years and I do think it's better than other online brokers. It has never steered me wrong and I like it a lot.

Laura, thank you for taking the time to adress my posting, but please understand that expecting your users to shut down any other application that uses bandwidth just so they can avoid eToro's connection problems is an admission that the Etoro bandwidth is the problem.

Recently filed complaint with CySEC due to etoro asking for security code information by email. Had sent copies of documents for payout, they confirmed receipt, then asked for all my cvv code info and security info from back of my card even though they said it wasn't necessary. They refuse to pay me my money now including my deposits and profits. Will keep informed. Trading was fine, made money, just their platform doesn't work all the time ( example the news feed) So I want to trade elsewhere. Please just pay me.
